A summer recommendation!

If you are trying to find a peaceful place just to relax, enjoy the silence, eat real food (with excellent wine, olive oil,...) and forget about your mobile, worries, etc.... you do have to visit this Rural House called Escuelas de Bélmez. Food is great, price is almost ridiculous, people are charming,... (they don't pay me for this!) But be careful: no discos, no pubs, no nothing!!

Hi there Jose Luis!

I've been sneaking through the P.P. Escolapios facebook former students profile and amongst others I found your name in the teachers list.

So many years have passed for everyone and now it's so emotional to recall the good old days. You might remember me because you gave me nice marks and you used to think I was making fun of you together with Oscar Salmeron! (I wasn't indeed).

Best regards

Alejandro Perera

Hi Alejandro,
It's nice hearing from you after such a long time! And I see you've worked on your English!
I don't visit that Facebook website that much!
How are you doing? Where are you now? What do you make for a living?
Hahaha, it is funny this of Salmerón; how is he now? I've never heard of him after that class left the school many years ago. I never thought you tried to make fun of me! You two needed tons of Cola Cao!
Thanks, Alejandro, for being in touch; as you I left the school some 7 years ago and now I teach English and train teachers at the University of Granada, run different international programs, etc.
All the best (and sorry for the delay!)

Don't you worry, Jose Luis!

What do I do for a living, well I work for an IT company in Malaga in the finance area. I can't complain, life's quite good compared to what is going on out there under the Joseph Lewis R. Shoemaker administration! (no political intention).

I don't know either about Oscar Salmerón, we didn't keep in touch after school but I know he studied architecture and he enjoys being a deejay as a hobby! I was shocked by that because as far as I remember he was a heavy metal lover in his teen years.

I think my class had a meeting at Escolapios a few years ago, I just happened to find this facebook group (I don't use it much either) and I recalled so many things from the old times!

Hope life keeps treating you well, best regards!
